Join us for the Piedmont Pacers National Honey Month 5k being held on Saturday, September 8, 2018 at Hagan-Stone Park in Pleasant Garden, North Carolina, just outside of Greensboro, North Carolina.
This will be an exciting 5k trail race at one of the best parks in the area as well as focus on the National Honey Month with participants receiving a jar of local honey!
Race details are below:
  • Start of the race will begin at 9:00AM with late registration and packet pickup beginning at 7:30AM
  • An exciting 5 Kilometer (3.1 mile) competitive race awaits on one of the Hagan-Stone paths.
  • The race path is a public course so runners will need to be mindful of others on the trail including cyclists, runners and walkers.
  • Fees:
    • Until August  24: $20.00
    • From August 25 to September 1 : $30.00
    • From September 2 though race day: $35.00 
  • All registrants will receive:
  • A Commemorative National Honey Month 5k License Plate (collect all of the plates from Pacers events!)
  • A jar of locally produced honey
  • Parking and restroom facilities are near the start/finish line
  • Refreshments & music post-race
    Water at the half-way mark (1.5 miles)
    Honey vendors at start/finish (to be determined)
  • Awards (largest medals you will find at a 5k!):
    • Top man and woman to win medals and $20 Road ID Gift Cards
    • Ten-Year Age-Group first place medals to the winning men & women in each 10-year age group after age 20 (1-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80-89, 90-99, 100+)
    • Team award for the fastest combined 5 runners
