Join us for the Second Annual American Masters Track & Field Championship that will be tentatively held on Saturday, April 13, 2019 in Durham NC.
There will be 20 events being competed including track, field and relay events at the Durham County Stadium.
This will be a premier event focusing on Masters athletes (over age 30) with age group and team awards on the line and at a world-class location at the Durham County Stadium, the site of many USATF, College and High School Track & Field events.
This will also be a USATF Certified event and timed by Rhodes Race Timing Services and hosted by the Piedmont Pacers Running, Track and Field Club. There are discounts for entering at least three events (10%) and more discounts for entering at least six events! (15%)
There are no qualifying standards or requirements to be a member of USATF or any other organization to enter this meet and feel free to enter as few or as many events as you would like!

- 100 meter run
- 200 meter run
- 400 meter run
- 800 meter run
- 1,500 meter run
- 5,000 meter run
- 3,000 meter racewalk
- Weight Throw
- Superweight Throw
- Shot Put
- Long Jump
- Triple Jump
- High Jump
- 4x100 Relay (ten-year age groups)
- 4x400 Relay (ten-year age groups)
$30.00 for firstevent entered, $20.00 for second, $10.00 for third and additional events (prices increase March 15, 2019)
For the event process, it will run oldest to youngest ages, women then men (the event judge may combine ages/genders based on the number of entrants)
Throwers must bring their own implements, checked and approved before use in competition
There will be batons provided for the relays
USATF Certified Meet and will be run via USATF regulations
Volunteers will get free green-volunteer shirt and access to refreshments
Event t-shirts available on site for purchase
Music and entertainment will be part of the event experience!
To check-in to receive your bib and event packet, enter the Stadium and there will be signs directing athletes to the Meet Check-In Tent
The running and jumping events will take place the first part of the day. The throwing events will take place the second part of the day to allow athletes the chance to compete in various events without having to drive from one part of the complex to another
The schedule is listed below per phase, athletes must arrive with their bib number on the front part of their shirt/singlet to the event start location (Event Check-in Tents at Track, Throwing Area and Jumping)
The schedule will be a Rolling Schedule and stay aware of events occurring to not miss your event. The announcers will state which event is set to begin
If entering in track and field events that have the same starting time, let the field judge know you are running in a track event and we will fit you in for the field event and ensure you get the number of jumps or throws
Field events: Each registrant for a field event will get 6 throws or jumps for each event entered
Medals for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place finishers per event per gender per 5-year age group
